Supreme Energy marked an important milestone at the Opening Ceremony of the 12th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2026 through two strategic collaborations supporting the advancement of geothermal development in Indonesia.

As part of the ceremony, PT Supreme Energy Muara Laboh (SEML) and the Provincial Government of West Sumatra signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct a joint study on the potential for direct utilization of geothermal energy. The MoU was signed by Mr. Mahyeldi, Governor of West Sumatra, and Mr. Nisriyanto, Director & CEO of SEML, strengthening the collaboration in exploring the broader potential and benefits of geothermal resources beyond electricity generation.

Supreme Energy also joined the Strategic Partnership Declaration for Geothermal Development, which encompasses the formulation of cooperation agreements between geothermal developers and their respective partners across several Geothermal Working Areas (WKP), representing a combined potential capacity of up to 453 MW. Among the projects included in this strategic partnership is PT Supreme Energy Rajabasa (SERB), with a planned development capacity of 2 × 110 MW.

These milestones reinforce Supreme Energy’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and advancing the sustainable development of Indonesia’s geothermal resources, contributing to the country’s transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
