Supramu Santosa - Founder, President and CEO
His vision to explore and develop geothermal power generation, capitalizing on the huge geothermal resources of Indonesia, led Supramu Santosa to establish Supreme Energy in September 2007. Mr. Supramu has over 35 years of experience in Indonesian oil & gas and geothermal industry. He has an extensive exposure and involvement in various aspects of oil and gas industry – operations, administration, finance, marketing, and corporate strategic development. His career began in 1968 with Kyushu Oil Company, the earliest offshore oil and gas exploration in East Java, moving his way up to become Sr. Vice President for Gulf Indonesia Resources before leaving and establishing Star Energy in 2003. Star Energy started with acquiring the Kakap Block, an oil and gas producing field in Natuna Sea and under his leadership this company acquired 3 exploration blocks (Sekayu South Sumatera, Sebatik East Kalimantan, and Banyumas Central Java). Star Energy then acquired Magma Nusantara Ltd in 2004, a 110 MW geothermal field at Wayang Windu, West Java, and continued to expand the facility by financing and building the 2nd 110 MW Unit in 2007. He left Star Energy at the end of 2007 and established Supreme Energy. Among other activities, he served as Vice President of Indonesia Petroleum Association for four years and now serves as one of the advisory board members of the Indonesia Geothermal Association (API).
In 1996 he received Nasional Development Medal (Satya Lencana Pembangunan) from the President of Indonesia for his outstanding contribution to development of the country.
In 2011 he received a Special Award from Indonesian Petroleum Association for his outstanding contribution to Indonesian oil and gas industry.
Mr. Supramu has a bachelor degree in Business Administration and an MBA degree in Finance and International Business, both from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jan Bartak - Chief Operating Officer
Jan has been working in different areas of the power industry for almost 30 years. His experience includes power engineering, nuclear safety analysis, thermal hydraulic modeling, simulation and training. He published more than 30 scientific and technical papers.
Jan has extensive experience in business development, in the management of international multidisciplinary projects and has worked in different cultural environments in a variety of countries in Europe and Asia. As member of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Energy companies he represents the ‘International Power – GDF Suez’ shareholder.
Jan has an MSc degree in nuclear engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and a PhD in Nuclear Safety from the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences.
